Dependable operation is due in large part to the New Brunswick triple-eccentric counterbalanced drive. Other shaker manufacturers may offer triple-eccentric drives in their shakers. But only New Brunswick offers a broad-based cast-iron support mechanism—the most stable in the industry—properly sized to each shaker and specifically designed to support high-speed applications and heavy workloads. The Innova platform shaker model 2050 comes with additional stabilizing feet and counterweight to balance larger loads on an oversized platform. All New Brunswick shakers (enclosed and open air) do not come equipped with a platform and must be purchased separately. A wide range of interchangeable accessory platforms accommodate all your glassware. When using a single flask size, dedicated platforms provide maximum capacity, and come with clamps installed. Universal platforms let you mixdifferent-sized clamps and test tube racks for added versatility.
Universal platforms—have multiple holes enabling you to mount an assortment of flask clamps or other accessories on a single platform. Universal platform, clamps and accessories are sold separately.
Dedicated platforms—when just one size flask will be used on the shaker, (i.e., 250mL flasks), dedicated platforms come with flask clamps already mounted. Dedicated platforms generally will hold a greater number of flasks than the universal platform, but do not offer the versatility.
