Needles, Large Hub Removable Needle (RN), Gastight®, Hamilton

With Hamilton Removable Needles you get the best of both worlds. The benefit of a replaceable needle for the occasional bend or clog and the minimal dead volume of a cemented needle. The unique Removable Needle design installs the needle precisely at the zero line. The result is a zero dead volume connection that simplifies priming.

RN needles are made of stainless steel. The needles are available for syringes in volumes from 5µL to 100µL and from 250µL up to 10mL syringes. RN needles are available in a range from gauge 19 to gauge 34. All standard RN needles are delivered in 51mm needle length. The RN ferrule is contained in the RN pack. RN needles are sold in packages of six pieces.

Large Hub Removable (RN) needles can be used with removable (RN)-style syringes that are 250µL and larger. Standard needle length is 2"/51mm. Removable (RN) needles are available in convenient six packs. Custom lengths and point styles are available.

Tech Tip
Burrs, rough edges at the needle opening and a rough needle surface can be removed by gently rubbing with a fine emery cloth or fine carborundum paper. Make sure to thoroughly rinse and dry the needle before using.

Economical Tip
By use of a non standard needle order a RN stringe without needle and separate a six pack of your preferred RN or customized RN needle.
