Carboys, 2319 Autoclavable Carboys with Spigot, polypropylene; polypropylene spigot and screw closure, NALGENE®
Use for storing and dispensing solutions, media. Ideal for sterile water storage—can be autoclaved before refilling to stop recurring algae or bacterial growth. Excellent chemical resistance. Closure size is 83B (83mm). Also take No. 13-½ stopper. Graduated to deliver in 1-gallon and 5-liter increments. Spigot boss molded in one piece with bottle, not welded on, for strength and leak resistance. Spigot closure included. Autoclavable/Graduated/Leakproof.
NOTE: Autoclave only when empty. Before autoclaving, just set cap or closure on top of the container without engaging the thread.
