PTFE membranes offer the broadest range of thermal stability and chemical resistance available. Useful for sterilization, clarification and filtration of harsh chemicals. Autoclavable - withstands temperatures up to 200°C. PTFE membranes must be pre-treated with methanol when using aqueous solutions due to the hydrophobic properties of PTFE.
