For non-vacuum high speed filtration, the molded TPX (Polymethylpentane) filtering funnel with helicoid internal ribs is unsurpassed. Using standard round filter paper discs folded, filtration speed is increased many times. A superior tool for geological and metallurgical lab analysis, soil analysis and gravimetric analysis. Hot, corrosive or volatile liquids will not harm the TPX, helicoid ribs prevent sticking of paper to funnel wall. Outer ribs prevent air lock. Clear TPX is heat resistant to 350°F (177°C).
