Cryogenic Storage Boxes
New ultra-low temperature storage boxes are designed to hold 1.2mL to 2.0mL cryogenic vials. An excellent and long lasting replacement for cardboard, these new polycarbonate boxes include a transparent hinged lid that offers an alphanumeric index for sample identification. The new hinged lid not only adds convenience (opens and doses with just one hand), but also eliminates confusion caused by incorrect lid orientation.

The front of each box is fitted with a unique barcode for added identification benefits. These barcodes are permanently screened on to the box to ensure resistance to extreme temperatures and long-term wear. Each barcode also includes an easy-to-read corresponding numeric code for manual identification.

These freezer boxes are available in 2 sizes: S804-21 is an 81-place(9 x 9) and S804-22 is a 100-place (10 x 10) formats and are designed to accommodate both self-standing and round bottom cryogenic vials. All boxes have venting and draining holes, are fully autoclavable and withstand liquid nitrogen. They are suitable for temperatures ranging from -196° to +121°C. They are compatible with all standard 5.25 inch (133mm) freezer racks.

Freezer/Storage Boxes
Suitable for refrigerator and freezer storage as low as -80°C, these boxes have translucent lids and numbered cavities. S804-23 is the standard 9 × 9 format with a friction fit lid. S804-24 is a 10 × 10 format with an attached hinged lid.
BetterBox™ (S804-25) is an all new autoclavable polypropylene storage box, exclusively designed to hold 81 x 1.5mL or 2.0mL microtubes neatly and securely in a 9 x 9 array for tubes (snap cap or screw cap tubes fit equally well). The lid cannot become separated or lost thanks to the sturdy hinge and locking clasp. A frosted marking spot is molded into the front edge and the top surface.
