This Centrifuge 5920R is outfitted with a powerful state-of-the-art refrigeration system that allows a very compact centrifuge design, yet has similar dimensions as competing refrigerated 3 liter models and yet features a superior capacity of up to 4 × 1,000mL or 52 × 50mL conical tubes.
Outstanding versatility for all your applications
The 5920R has a broad rotor and adapter selection to spin all commonly used tubes, bottles, and plates. With high centrifugation speed up to 25,062 × g (13,700rpm) for molecular applications in tubes from 0.2 to 1,000mL and plates. The 5920R also has aerosol-tight rotors for potentially hazardous materials like pathogenic bacteria, viruses, blood samples or radioactive material. And with automatic rotor recognition and imbalance detection for maximum operational safety.
Ergonomic operation
The 5920R Centrifuge has a low noise level to benefit your work environment with a soft-touch lid closure that has QuickLock caps and lids allowing fast and ergonomic lid locking. And it's compact footprint saves valuable bench space.
Advanced temperature management for maximum sample protection and energy efficiency
The temperature range from –11°C to 40°C, maintains constant 4°C, even at maximum speed. The 5920R has a FastTemp function for quick pre-cooling as the pro function allows for automatic precooling based on pre-programmable time and date. The standby cooling function holds temperature when centrifuge is not in use with an ECO shut-off that can be programmed to engage after 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours of nonuse to reduce energy consumption and extend compressor life.
