SurePrep™ Capillary Tubes
The BD Clay Adams SurePrep Capillary Tubes are a 70µL plain, self-sealing, mylar-wrapped glass tube designed for safe capillary blood collection, minimizing exposure to bloodborne pathogens. The design of the BD SurePrep minimizes the risk of pathogen exposure during collection, transport, or accidental breakage. The combined use of a self-sealing plug and Mylar wrap provides multiple layers of protection, making it safer than conventional capillary collection tubes.
- The tube automatically seals when contact is made with the blood sample, reducing the risk of spills or contamination
- The tube is wrapped in multilayer Mylar to contain broken glass fragments and spilled blood in case of accidental breakage, further minimizing exposure to HIV, HBV, and other pathogens
- Made of high-quality glass suitable for capillary blood collection procedures
