ZAP™ Premier Aerosol Pipet Tips
ZAP™ Premier™ Aerosol Filter Tips provide you with complete protection from sample carry over. They incorporate a robotically inserted patented filter that is made from high molecular weight polyethylene. The filters allow the pipettor to draw by venting through a tortuous sponge-like pathway. The pores in this pathway have an average size of 10 microns, so even radionucleotides are captured before reaching the pipettor barrel.

ZAP™ Premier Aerosol filter Pipet Tips set a higher standard for your lab than ordinary filter pipet tips. These aerosol tips provide you with complete protection from sample carry-over. Incorporating a robotically inserted 10µm filter with a sponge-like porous pathway. ZAP™ Premier tips have such a small pore they even block fluids in the unlikely event that you should over pipet.

ZAP Premier™ Aerosol Filter Pipet Tips have been proven in independent studies to block aerosol contamination but unlike some leading brands of self sealing aerosol resistent pipet tips they have no cellulose gum, toluene solvent, or colored dyes in the filter to mix with and contaminate your sample. Also, unlike self sealing aerosol tips ZAP™ Premier tips can be autoclaved in a steam autoclave. And they will not wick fluids like cellulose filled aerosol resistent tips so you don't have to worry about how you hold your pipettor.

These ZAP™ Premier tips in sterile racks, have received valid sterilization processing compliant with ISO 11137. This is a feature you won't get from most pipet tip suppliers, really sterile product. Most pipet tip makers simply dose their products at a gamma or beta dose that they have set using a chart. They have never done the real work required to actually test to see if the products inside are sterile after they are dosed. Doing this work and maintaining a truly sterile process takes time consuming and costly work and quarterly testing. Some pipet tips are labeled "pre-sterilized" or "irradiated" sterile pipet tips but these are not a sterile product.
