Safety, Waste Funnel System, Nalgene™
Minimize accidental spills and volatile emissions with the chemical- and break-resistant Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ Safety Waste System, designed for temporary storage of solvent, chemical and biological wastes. Temporarily contain waste on the benchtop or under the lab hood using these Waste Funnel Systems. Funnels feature the Easy Snap Safety Latch to minimize spillage if accidentally tipped over and a larger diameter funnel for easy pouring. The vent system helps reduce fumes and splashing while the removable neck screen traps large particles, like stir bars. Designed for solvent, chemical and biological waste, it is recommended for use with Nalgene containers.

- Funnels available in 10 inch diameter funnel with 83B closure (S126-82) and 5.5 inch funnel with 38-430 closure (S126-83)
- Large-diameter funnel has attached cover with Easy Snap safety latch to minimize accidental spills and volatile emmissions
- Funnel easily unscrews from polypropylene closure/funnel adapter for cleaning and quicker access
- Closure/adapter includes vent with polypropylene/PTFE vent plug that releases pressure during pouring, and prevents emissions during use
- Adapter can also connect to external syringe filter
- Removable polypropylene screen insert fits at bottom of funnel to trap large particles such as stir bars
- Not resistant to long-term UV light exposure
- S126-86: 4L system includes S126-83 (a 5-1/2 inch (14cm) safety waste funnel) and 4L HDPE Nalgene bottle and closure. Recommended for acid, base and alcohol wastes.
