Helps prevent accidental needle sticks
Unique restrictive collar prevents finger contact when shield is extended
Safety shield can be extended for transport and then retracted for injection or may be locked in place after use for safe handling and disposal
Monoject® Safety Syringes with and without needles represent the latest in design to prevent accidental needle sticks. Pulling safety shield forward until you hear the snap insures safe handling and transport to the patient site. Shield may be retracted and injection is made. Immediately folowing injection the safety shield is extended forward and twisted into a permanently locked position. No contact with the needle is possible at this point.
All syringes are packaged in individual polypropylene hard packs and are sterile.
