Water Testing
These Water Vials meet all the requirements for microbiology sample containers as specified >by the “EPA Manual for the Certification of Laboratories Analyzing Drinking Water.” Container features a Security-Snap flip top lid providing tamper-evidence before and after sample collection. Guaranteed airtight seal. The integrated custody tie strap seals the lid closed after sample collection providing tamper evidence and protection against any possibility of accidental opening during transport.

• Available pre-charged with a 10 mg sodium thiosulfate (Na2S2O3) tablet for sample dechlorination, or without a tablet for unchlorinated water sources

Closure Styles- safe and easy handling solutions
Standard Seal (SS)
Standard flip-top containers are ideal for use in applications requiring storage and packaging of a wide range of liquids and solids.

Lock Seal (LS)
These vials are identical in construction to the standard flip-top vials, with the addition of a lock seal tab that allows the user to lock the lid to the base of the container.

Tamper Evident (TE)
Tamper evident vials are closed in the molding process and secured by a plastic arrow filament to prove they have never been opened from point of manufacture. Upon opening the vial, the plastic arrow will detach.

Chain of Custody (CC)
Unique custody containers feature a one-way, irreversible chain lock that secures the container once it is closed. These containers are available in six different sizes to hold a wide array of materials requiring tamper evident security. To open after use, simply cut the chain lock with scissors.

Triple Seal Design
Thermo Scientific Capitol Vial Triple Seal design combines structural interference and shrinkage to guarantee the integrity of its leakresistant seal- preventing fluids from entering or exiting the container.
