Flasks, Fernbach Polycarbonate Flask with Blue Polypropylene Screw Closure, Sterile
These sterile 125mL to 2L polycarbonate flasks with either baffled or flat bottoms are virtually unbreakable. Lexan (a registered trademark of GE Plastics) polycarbonate is used in the manufacture of this product. These Flasks come sterile via gamma irradiation, packaged in its own protective bag with two polypropylene closures. One is a standard leakproof closure, while the other is a vented closure with a PTFE membrane, 0.22um pore size for sterile air exchange.
The polycarbonate is autoclavable which makes for repeated reuse of the flasks. They are certified non pyrogenic and DNase/RNase free for convenience. Product fits all standard shaking incubator slamps and are ideal for culture, media preparation, storage, and any related applications.
