WHEATON® MAGNA FLEX™ Double Sidearm Spinner Flask
- The WHEATON MAGNA FLEX Spinner Flasks feature a flex-type, bulb-shaped glass impeller that rotates from a fixed position above liquid level around an indentation in the base of the flask.
- Designed for microcarrier cultures with a magnetic stirrer
- Gentle stirring action provided by a bulb-shaped glass impeller
- 1:1 headspace ratio for ideal gas exchange
- A removable stainless steel pin immobilizes the impeller during handling or decanting to prevent damage to cells or microcarriers
- Sizes 500mL and larger can accommodate Vented Cap
- Side arms for 500mL - 6L flasks allow vented caps which enables the flask to "breathe" while protecting from contamination
- Autoclavable borosilicate glass that conforms to USP Type I and ASTM E 438 Type I, Class A requirements
