Corning® Cell Culture Flasks are sterilized by gamma irradiation and are non-pyrogenic. All treated Flasks receive a vacuum-gas plasma tissue culture treatment which provides consistent cell attachment, spreading and growth– choose standard tissue-culture or Primaria™. Flasks feature volumetric graduations and writing patch. Three cap styles available– Vented (incorporated a 0.2µm hydrophobic membrane), Phenolic (contain nontoxic liners) and Plug-Seal (one spare cap in each case of flasks). Additionally, all Cell Culture Flasks utilize tissue-culture friendly packaging: convenient resealable tab right on the medical-style peel-open bag, double-wall bags that provide increased sterility assurance, recyclable bag materials that will not scuff or scratch the flask optical surface and outer case material that does not require a knife to open.
