Sub micron filter applications
Grade GF 6 glass filters are suitable for water pollution and waste water analysis. Both require a sub micron filter that can capture tiny particles without weakening. Other applications include
- Use as a beer filter in applications including protein removal
- Determination of chlorophyll and phytoplankton residue
- Determination of filterable substances and residue on ignition
- Analysis of aggressive media (e.g., acidic gases)
- Determination of iron content in the presence of iron oxides
- Liquid scintillation measurement
- Sub micron filter retention efficiency to capture extremely small particles
- Inorganic binder for increased strength
- Temperature-resistant up to 500°C
