Falcon® Multiwell™ Cell Culture Plates, 96-well U-Bottom with Lid, Sterile, Corning®
Constructed of crystal grade virgin polystyrene for optimum visibility. Corning® Falcon® Polystyrene Microplates are available with tissue culture-treated, non-treated or Primaria™ surfaces.
- Crystal-grade virgin polystyrene
- Nonpyrogenic
- Sterilized by gamma irradiation
- Convenient, peel-open medical-style packaging for individual product presentation
- Individual and Ready-Stack (RS) trays are PET (Code 1) and recyclable Falcon 96, 384, and 1536 well microplates are compatible with automation systems and meet standard ANSI/SBS footprint dimensions for microplates
- Nontreated growth surface is more hydrophobic than tissue culture surface and is similiar to the surface of a bacteriological Petri dish
- Lid design permits stable stacking
- Plates have patented “labyrinth” lid that reduces evaporation of media from wells, minimizes the risk of contamination
- Frosted writing ends provide clear writing area for quick identification
- All plates and lids are suitable for both manual and automated handling
