Centrifuges, Microcentrifuge, Model 5430 and 5430R, Eppendorf®

Unique cross-over Centrifuges 5430 and 5430R combine the best features of a microcentrifuge (small footprint) and multipurpose centrifuge (versatility) in one instrument. These centrifuges spin rotors for Eppendorf® tubes and PCR strips as you would expect from any microcentrifuge. But that’s not all. In a compact size—just over a foot of bench space— Models 5430 and 5430R also accommodate a fixed-angle rotor for 15/50mL conical tubes, Vacutainer, 10 to 50mL OakRidge tubes, cryo and HPLC vials as well as a swingbucket rotor for MTP and PCR plates. Until now, this has only been possible with large multipurpose centrifuges.

The refrigerated version 5430R is equipped with the latest innovations in cooling technology such as programmable pre-cooling time (FastTemppro), ECO shut-off function and our patented, dynamic compressor control to assure accurate temperature control for maximum sample protection and high energy efficiency.

Let the 5430 be your “personal multipurpose centrifuge.”
Centrifuge samples in 50mL conical tubes on your lab bench or spin down PCR plates at your PCR workstation to minimize contamination risks. With a 5430 personal centrifuge, you won’t have to coordinate a time to use your lab’s centrifuge or make a visit to the centrifuge room.
