The 700 series MICROLITER™ syringes are the original HAMILTON syringes and are the standard liquid measuring devices throughout the world for precise delivery of liquids in the 5µl to 500µl volume range. Steel plungers individually fitted into the borosilicate glass barrels guarantee the highest level of quality. The accuracy of these syringes is ±1% of the nominal volume.
Typical applications are:
- Sample injection in gas chromatography (GC)
- Sample injection in HPLC valves
- Sample injection with automatic samplers from different manufacturers
- Thin layer chromatography (TLC)
- Everyday applications
Due to different coefficients of expansion of steel and glass, syringes with needles must not be heated above 50°C. Due to the manufacturing process, the plungers and glass barrels are not interchangeable.
Economical Tip
Syringes cost less in a Six Pack. The packaging container keeps syringes close at hand.
Tech Tip
Before each use, thoroughly inspect the syringe barrel for cracks, and the needle point for burrs.
