BioStor^TM Microcentrifuge Screw Cap Vials, 2.0mL

MG Scientific offers Biostor microcentrifuge screw cap vials for the ultimate in long term storage vials. Biostor vials are designed to serve a broad spectrum of biotechnology requirements including collection, processing, centrifugation, transportation and storage of samples. Ideal for TAq polymerase and PCR procedures. Vials are offered in 750uL, 1600uL and 2000uL sizes that all popular microcentrifuge rotors in both conical or free-standing bases. Thick wall construction allows centrifugation up to 17000 x G R.C.F. Biostor vials are made of natural polypropylene with your choice of cap colors for instant sample identification.

Caps come with ethylene propylene O-ring for a positive leak-proof seal. A 3mm circular syringe target port facilitates piercing for radioisotope labeling or fraction collection. Screw cap has a full two turn thread. Cap uniformly compresses the “O” Ring on the beveled seat of the tube edge. Vials and caps may be autoclaved with cap loosened and are excellent for use with liquid nitrogen. Temperature range for Biostor vials is +121°C to –196°C.
